Classical Guitar (ages 10 - 18)
This summer school is for young guitarists aged 10 – 18 who want to spend a week playing guitar and focusing on improving their technical and musical skills.
Guitar Summer School
Guitar Summer School offers classical guitarists a unique opportunity to participate in a varied programme of music making that allows students time to develop their playing and musicianship. Students work in a non-competitive and supportive environment, performing in ensembles both large and small. The course is suitable for players of all levels of ability but note that it is not suitable for complete beginners or someone who doesn’t read music at all.
Classical Guitar Festival

Cawsand Bay Guitarfest 2025
An exciting classical guitar weekend by the sea on the stunning Rame Peninsula, with Craig Ogden, Eden Stell Guitar Duo & Alison Smith. The course will include three professional concerts, ensemble classes, workshop, master class, a presentation by Gerald Garcia, Anatomy of an Etude – Why write an Etude?, informal playing opportunities, Cornish afternoon tea, sea view dinners and lots of fun in a friendly environment. We are delighted that William Lovelady is arranging one of his compositions and Gerald Garcia one of his Etudes specially for the course ensemble to play over the weekend as two of the repertoire pieces. The classes and concert venues will take place in the pretty historic twin villages of Cawsand/Kingsand, an artist's paradise. All the venues are within easy walking distance from each other. Combining great music in an area of outstanding natural beauty that inspires creativity. Come and be part of it ! Non residential but plenty of options
