Renowned concert artists and educators came from throughout the world to teach, coach and perform in concerts and recitals. CM took place in Houston, Texas for 14 years and is now moving to England! Our first UK "Classical Minds" will take place in the village of Foxton at Foxton Village Hall, just outside of Cambridge.
The festival is open to all ages from primary school through university and graduate school plus adult amateurs who study privately or just enjoy playing.
CM offers private lessons, master classes, guitar orchestra, technique classes, guitar classes, workshops, and a solo, small ensemble & guitar orchestra recital on the last day.
This year's faculty includes Daniela Rossi, Valerie Hartzell, and CM Festival Assistant, Mathew James. Hartzell & Rossi will perform a concert on the evening of the 26th.

Guitar Ensemble Weekend
“The focus of each weekend is playing in an ensemble of around 20 classical guitars directed by Gerald Garcia. The weekend is shared with a group of up to 10 solo singers. At the end of the weekend each group performs the pieces they have been rehearsing to the other.
The guitar ensemble rehearsal/tuition programme is determined by its director, but typically
consists of sessions:
• After dinner on the Friday
• Saturday morning
• After tea on Saturday
• After dinner on Saturday
• Sunday morning
The period between lunch and tea on Saturday is free – you can explore the grounds, go into
town, practise, play with other guitarists or singers or just rest.
On Saturday evening there will be an informal concert at which both singers and guitarists who wish to perform to the others may do so.
