Amanda started playing the guitar aged 7 in Bognor Regis and is a leading guitarist of her generation. She has performed and given masterclasses in the USA, South America and throughout Europe. She has performed and been broadcast live on television and radio, both abroad and in the UK and is now widely admired as an adjudicator
Tonight’s performance will be followed by a question and answer session with John Taylor in which the audience can talk to Sean about his music

7-string guitar expert Oleg Timofeyev w/P. Shepherd
In April 2020 the world’s leading expert on the Russian seven-string guitar Oleg Timofeyev will be touring the UK for the first time. For his Brighton and Hove concert, he will present a program of 19th and 20th century instrumental music and accompany Brighton’s own Russian singer Polina Shepherd a few songs in Russian and Yiddish.
My solo recital consisting of an evening of my arrangements of popular music over the last 100 years from the Beatles, to Bacharach and beyond , to every decade from the 1920s to the present day .
The evening will include music by Mertz, Piazzola, Villa-Lobos, Dyens, Legnani and Turina.
