Saturday 7th June 2025 at 1:00pm
Swansea Grand Theatre, Singleton Street, Swansea SA1 3QJ
https://www.swanseagrand.co.uk/LukeTyrell

The International Guitar Foundation (IGF) is delighted to present a series of afternoon concerts featuring talented musicians from its Young Artist Platform.

IGF's YAP aims to help young musicians in the critical phase between the final stages of music education and the concert platform.

Luke Tyrrell is a multi-award-winning classical guitarist from Reading, England.

Combining knowledge from all genres and varieties of guitar playing, and a special interest in underappreciated and underperformed works, Luke strives to offer audiences diverse and unique recitals.

Currently presenting a recital program exploring the music of early 20th century Spain and sharing the stories of composers who lived through that period, Luke is honoured to be a member of the International Guitar Foundation's Young Artist Program for the 2024-25 season.

Programme includes work by Llobet, Turina and the 2021 IGF commission by Welsh Composer Bethan Morgan-Williams, Strumble Head (Suite for Solo Guitar).
