Concerts and recitals
Guitar In Wales: Luke Tyrrell
The International Guitar Foundation (IGF) is delighted to present a series of afternoon concerts featuring talented musicians from its Young Artist Platform.
IGF's YAP aims to help young musicians in the critical phase between the final stages of music education and the concert platform.
Luke Tyrrell is a multi-award-winning classical guitarist from Reading, England.
Combining knowledge from all genres and varieties of guitar playing, and a special interest in underappreciated and underperformed works, Luke strives to offer audiences diverse and unique recitals.
Currently presenting a recital program exploring the music of early 20th century Spain and sharing the stories of composers who lived through that period, Luke is honoured to be a member of the International Guitar Foundation's Young Artist Program for the 2024-25 season.
Programme includes work by Llobet, Turina and the 2021 IGF commission by Welsh Composer Bethan Morgan-Williams, Strumble Head (Suite for Solo Guitar).
Dorian Demeny Guitar Recital

Join Dorian for a night filled with works by Bach, Sor, Barrios, Villa-Lobos and Lauro in the stunning setting of the Fitzrovia Chapel.
Early Summer Thursday Concert
Come and see us perform at this beautiful Inn dating back 700 years and steeped in history. Our repertoire is an eclectic mix of spanish, world music, classical and popular hits.
Pavel Ralev
Described by John Williams as “a poet of the guitar”, the London-based Bulgarian classical guitarist Pavel Ralev is establishing a strong presence on the international concert platform. In 2023, he was conferred as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, London, in recognition of his “significant contribution” to the music profession. Pavel made his Wigmore Hall debut in November 2023, under the auspices of the Julian Bream Trust (“an unforgettable performance”, Gendai Guitar Magazine).
A Special Sunday Summer Concert
We feel very honoured to be performing at the beautiful Burnby Hall Gardens for this event date. It will be a very special day for the Gardens as there will also be an unveiling of a commemorative bench that afternoon for Lady Margaret Revell, whose passing was the garden's last link with their benefactor, Major Percy Stewart.
A Late Summer Saturday Concert
Come join us at Willerby Methodist Church for an evening of classical guitar. Let us take you to Spain and around the world, or to a more classical space or tap your feet to our popular hits.
